OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
” Paul McCartney Song of The Day Giveaway”
HOW TO ENTER:
Listen for the “Paul McCartney Song of The Day” contest on WLDE, 101.7, Monday, May 13, 2019 and run through Friday, May 24, 2019 at 4pm.
How to Play:
To participate in the contest, listen each weekday at 6:10am to hear WLDE reveal the Paul McCartney Song of The Day. Anytime thereafter that weekday when the Paul McCartney Song of The Day plays again between 6:30am and 4:30pm, be caller number 10 at (260) 426-5343 and become a finalist to win 2 tickets to Paul McCartney at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, Fort Wayne, IN on June 3rd, 2019. Finalists will also win a Qualifying Prize. There will be 1 Grand Prize winner per week. Winners will be announced each Friday afternoon at approximately 5pm, from all qualifiers meeting eligibility restrictions.

You must be 18 years of age or older with a valid photo I.D. or other identification issued by the U. S. government or an educational institution. To enter and be eligible to win, you must live in the Fort Wayne metropolitan area, consisting of Adams, Allen, Dekalb, Huntington, Noble, Steuben, LaGrange, Wells and Whitley Counties in Indiana, along with Paulding, Defiance and Van Wert counties in Ohio.
Employees of Sarkes Tarzian Inc., and radio stations in the Fort Wayne Metro, and members of their respective families are not eligible. Family is defined as parents, in-laws, children, spouses, people in spouse-like relationships and siblings, including those in step and half relations. Anyone who has been employed by or interned with Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., is also ineligible.
Persons who have won prizes of cash or merchandise totaling $600 or more from WLDE since November 13, 2018 are ineligible for this contest.
You may qualify once during this contest.
You may only win a Grand Prize once in this contest.
Only one finalist per household is permitted.
The date and times of the “Paul McCartney Song of The Day” will be pre-determined by WLDE, 101.7. The number of contest episodes per day is also pre-determined by WLDE management.
Songs that are the same as the “Paul McCartney Song of The Day’ that are featured in commercials, promos, concert events, sound bites, cover songs and other elements that are not considered as a part of the contest solicit, are not eligible in this contest.
If a “Paul McCartney Song of The Day” is not played at its designated date and time, it will not be rescheduled, a finalist taken or the qualifying prize awarded.
Once a person qualifies as a finalist, they are eligible for each weeks Grand Prize giveaway through May 24, 2019.
2 Grand Prizes will be awarded by random drawing during the contest, one Grand Prize each week: A Grand Prize includes 2 tickets to the Paul McCartney concert at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, June 03, 2019 at 8pm.
Prize Value is approximately $260 per ticket
If the Grand Prize Winner cannot take possession of the Grand Prize due to force majeure, or any other reason beyond the reasonable control of the Winner or WLDE as determined station management in their sole discretion, the prize shall be forfeited. WLDE is not responsible for postponed or canceled shows by either the performer, concert management, the venue or any other entity related to putting on the show and therefore will not replace the prize. WLDE is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets once the winner has possession of the prize.
Only the winner(s) may claim the prize.
The Qualifying Prize – 2 subs from Penn Station. Approximate value is $15.00.
Contest prizes are not transferable.
Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash
WLDE reserves the right to change qualifying prizes with one of equal or greater value at anytime during the contest.
Prize(s) provided in exchange for promotional consideration.
Selection of Winner:
Each weekly Grand Prize will be awarded on Friday at approximately 5:00 p.m.
The first Grand Prize on Friday, May 17, 2019, the second on Friday, May 24, 2019.
The Grand prize winners will be selected at random from contestants who have qualified on-air and meet all eligibility restrictions. The Grand Prize winner will be announced on-air and a WLDE representative will attempt to contact the winner by telephone. If a winner cannot be reached within 2 business days, an alternate winner will be selected and the prize awarded.
Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winnings must be reported to the IRS on IRS Form 1099 or the equivalent.
By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agrees to allow their names, voices, likeness, pictures of the prize to be used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest for a period of one year without additional financial or other compensation.
Contest winners are required to sign a receipt verifying eligibility prior to acceptance of the grand prize, and a liability release as applicable.
Pursuant to the Liability Release, the winner agrees to hold Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., and the respective officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless from and against any and all claims of liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
WLDE, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the WLDE Web Site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules.
The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
These rules are subject to the interpretation of WLDE. Any aspect of these rules, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, can be changed at the discretion of WLDE, and such changes will become effective upon on-air or other appropriate announcement.
All decisions of WLDE management in the administration of the contest are final.
The contest is void where prohibited.
Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of WLDE.
WLDE is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcements of any prize.
WLDE is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call.
As a consequence of delays in the online streaming of the WLDE signal compared to over-the-air broadcasts, online listeners may be at a disadvantage in attempting to participate in on-air contests. Entrants are encouraged to listen to the station on-air. WLDE is not responsible for online streaming delays.
WLDE reserves the right to change the contest rules at any time.
